Our Story
Built from lived experience, deep research, and a refusal to accept that families should just keep waiting.

Founder, NeuroBalance
Found in the most unexpected moment
"I was a single mum of a young boy with AuDHD and an EHCP. I had spent years navigating a system that offered waiting lists, labels, and very little else."
Then, mid-paint-stroke, she hear something on the audio book she was listening to: The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel van der Kolk (which made a change from Heart 90's radio!) — and the pieces began to fall into place. The science was there. The answers existed. They just weren't being offered to families like hers.
What started as a desperate search for answers for her son became something much bigger. After seeing the profound results for her son, she retrained as a Neurofeedback practitioner, training with BrainTrainUK and subsequently as an Amino Acid Therapy specialist with Mark Styles, a leading Functional Health Specialist, and NeuroBalance was born — the pathway she wished had existed when she needed it most.
Zoe holds a BA in Psychology and Law from Lancaster University, alongside extensive training in counselling and the psychology of both children and adults. Crucially, her approach recognises that talking about trauma is never a requirement — the body can heal without having to relive it.

Our Mission
NeuroBalance exists to give families access to natural, evidence-based approaches that create real, lasting change — without the years of waiting, the side effects of medication, or the exhaustion of talking therapies that don't get to the root cause.
What We Stand For
NeuroBalance was born from a mother's search for answers for her own child. That lived experience sits at the heart of everything we do.
Every approach we use is grounded in neuroscience and clinical research — not trends, not guesswork.
We believe the brain has an extraordinary capacity to heal when given the right conditions. No medication. No side effects.
Families have waited long enough. We move quickly, work collaboratively, and focus on meaningful change from day one.
